Maintenance scheduling with a suggested technician for each job

The AI Schedule button on the maintenance schedule board proposes a technician for each of the top ten backlog operations, based on craft, workload, priority and whether the work is overdue. Each proposal comes with its reasons, and nothing is assigned until the planner drags the job onto the board.

A proposal for the top of the backlog

Press AI Schedule and VenturusAI proposes a technician for each of the top ten backlog operations. It weighs craft, current workload, priority and overdue work, and explains each choice.

  • Suggested technician assignments on the schedule boardVenturusAI

The AI Schedule button on the maintenance schedule board proposes a technician for each of the top ten backlog operations, based on craft, workload, priority and whether the work is overdue.

The planner still makes the schedule

Nothing is assigned automatically. The planner drags each operation onto the board, and the board warns if a certification has lapsed or a shift is already full.

  • Weekly schedule board

Drag backlog work onto a technician and a day, move it to another day, or pull it back to the backlog.

  • Technician certifications with expiry badges

Track each technician's certifications and see at a glance which have expired or expire within 90 days.

  • Skill-matched assignment and certification alerts

Only technicians with the right skill and a valid certification are offered for a job, and certifications near expiry raise an alert.

Built on your real crew capacity

The board knows each technician’s skills, certifications, shifts and absences. Proposals start from the same roster and capacity your planner already maintains.

  • Technician roster

A list of the maintenance crew, searchable and filtered by craft, site and shift, with new technicians added from the same page.

  • Technician skills and proficiency

Record each technician's skills with a category, a proficiency level, whether they are certified in it and when last assessed.

  • Board capacity by shift and absence

The board knows each technician's shift and time off, so capacity and utilization reflect who is actually available.

  • Crew utilization on the board

The board shows scheduled hours as a share of crew capacity for the week.

Common questions

Does VenturusAI assign technicians on its own?

No. It proposes a technician and explains why. The planner assigns each operation by dragging it onto the schedule board.

What does it base a proposal on?

Craft, each technician’s current workload, the priority of the work and whether it is overdue. The reason is shown next to every proposal.

What if a proposed technician’s certification has expired?

The board warns the planner when they drop a job on a technician whose certification has lapsed or whose shift is full.

Can we schedule without it?

Yes. The AI Schedule button is optional, and an administrator decides whether the service is on.
